About This Work
“Surge” is a small mixed‑media abstraction on a solid wood block, shaped through layered color and textured marks that rise and shift across the surface. There’s a gentle sense of lift and momentum in the way the tones meet and move, creating a compact piece with subtle energy. The title is hand‑lettered on the front, with my signature on the side. It stands easily on its own and fits well into small spaces or quiet corners.
